Modern Colourful Beeswax Food Wraps
We have selected the most amazing fabrics to have our beeswax wraps made in. Use these wraps in your kitchen to keep left overs fresh and to wrap up sandwiches as a cling film or tin foil alternative. Not only are they zero waste and plastic free, they will also brighten up your kitchen and add some fun to your leftovers.
Our beeswax wraps are made locally using 100% cotton, coated in organic beeswax from our supplier's neighbour.
Sizes: large 35 x 25 cm, medium 17 x 25 cm, small 15 x 15 cm
NB - Neon colour way: The large wrap is cut from a large scale pattern, and therefore each pack will vary slightly with different sections of the print - see image with multiple packs.
How to use:
Use your hands to mould the wax wraps around pots, jars and sandwiches, you will find that the beeswax will cling to itself and keep the shape around anything you want to cover.
Hand wash in cool water with a mild dish soap, and towel dry. Store your spares in a cool, dry, clean place ready for next time. If you need to re-sterilise the wraps, simply place them (individually) on a baking tray and put them in the oven on a medium temperature for approximately 1 minute.
With good care, your beeswax wraps should last for about a year or longer. Once they have no life in them, simply add them to your compost bin.
NB: These wraps are handmade and there may be some slight differences with the thickness and colour of the wax.
